การศึกษาดูงาน ณ นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ ของภาควิชาการเมืองและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี

คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี จัดการศึกษาดูงานสำหรับนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 ณ นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ ระหว่างวันที่ 20–23 ตุลาคม 2569 ภายใต้แนวคิดห้องเรียนโลกจริง เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนการฝึกงานในชั้นปีสุดท้าย และพัฒนาทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับการแข่งขันในตลาดแรงงานปัจจุบัน

ในช่วงเช้าของวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2569 นางครองขนิษฐ รักษ์เจริญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ เวียงจันทน์ ให้การต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษา ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ เวียงจันทน์ โดยเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้บรรยายเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย–ลาว นักศึกษาให้ความสนใจและมีส่วนร่วมในการพูดคุย แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น และตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ในภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง

ในช่วงบ่าย คณาจารย์และนักศึกษาเข้าพบ นางบุษฎี สันติพิทักษ์ หัวหน้าเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารสำนักงานเลขาธิการคณะกรรมาธิการแม่น้ำโขง (MRCS) ณ นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ เพื่อเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับบทบาทของคณะกรรมาธิการแม่น้ำโขง (MRC) ในภูมิภาค การศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับนักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ที่มาจากภาคอีสาน ซึ่งแม่น้ำโขงมีความสำคัญต่อการดำรงชีพและวิถีชีวิตของหลายชุมชนมาอย่างยาวนาน อีกทั้งยังช่วยให้นักศึกษาเข้าใจปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เกิดขึ้นกับแม่น้ำโขง และเห็นว่าปัญหาเหล่านี้เกี่ยวข้องกับชีวิตของตนเองและชุมชนอย่างไร

Study Visit to Vientiane by the Department of Politics and International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University

To ensure that students are well prepared for their final-year internships and equipped to compete in today’s highly competitive labour market, the Department of Politics and International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, organised a study visit to Vientiane for fourth-year students from 20 to 23 October 2026 as part of its real-world classroom initiative.

On the morning of 22 October 2026, the delegation received a very warm welcome from H.E. Mrs Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane. A presentation by Embassy officials provided students with a great opportunity to learn more about the Embassy’s role in advancing Thai–Lao relations. The informative presentation encouraged students to participate enthusiastically in the discussion, sharing their views and asking questions about geopolitics in the Mekong region.

In the afternoon, faculty members and students were warmly welcomed by H.E. Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Chief Executive Officer of the Mekong River Commission Secretariat (MRCS), in Vientiane. The visit deepened students’ understanding of the role of the Mekong River Commission (MRC) in the region. This was particularly relevant to the students, most of whom come from Isan, or north-eastern Thailand, where the Mekong has long been integral to the livelihoods and ways of life of many communities. The visit also raised students’ awareness of environmental issues affecting the Mekong and their implications for their own lives and communities.
