ดร.ธนเชษฐ วิสัยจร หัวหน้าภาควิชาการเมืองและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ได้นำเสนอโครงการวิจัยเรื่อง “การทบทวนและต่อยอดนโยบายต่างประเทศไทยต่อยุทธศาสตร์อินโด-แปซิฟิกจากมุมมองส่วนภูมิภาค” ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนทุนจากมูลนิธิ Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung ในการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ “Southeast Asia and Indo-Pacific Imaginaries Conference” ณ National Museum of the Philippines เมือง Iloilo ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ เมื่อวันที่ 30 มกราคม 2569 โดยในโอกาสนี้ ดร.ธนเชษฐ วิสัยจร ยังได้นำเสนอบทความวิชาการเรื่อง “อุบลราชธานีในการเมืองระหว่างประเทศ: การท้องถิ่นระหว่างประเทศในฐานะแนวทางการวิเคราะห์” ซึ่งมุ่งเสนอกรอบการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศผ่านบทบาทของพื้นที่ส่วนภูมิภาค และการเชื่อมโยงระดับท้องถิ่นเข้ากับพลวัตการเมืองระหว่างประเทศร่วมสมัย

Dr Thanachate Wisaijorn, Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, presented a research project entitled “Revisiting and Advancing Thailand’s Foreign Policy Toward the Indo-Pacific Strategy: A Regional Perspective”, supported by the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, at the Southeast Asia and Indo-Pacific Imaginaries Conference held at the National Museum of the Philippines in Iloilo, the Philippines, on 30 January 2026. On this occasion, Dr Thanachate Wisaijorn also presented an academic paper entitled “Ubon Ratchathani in International Politics: Inter-local Relations as an Approach”, which proposes an analytical framework for understanding international relations through the role of regional spaces and the linkage between the local level and contemporary global political dynamics.
