[Please scroll down for English] ม.อุบลฯ ร่วมกับ UNICEF Thailand จัดประชุมหารือ ขับเคลื่อนพลังเยาวชนรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศสู่แผนพัฒนาท้องถิ่น

เมื่อวันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุม POL 116 มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี โดยคณะรัฐศาสตร์ ร่วมกับ องค์การทุนเพื่อเด็กแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNICEF Thailand) จัดการประชุมหารือร่วมกับคณะผู้แทนองค์การยูนิเซฟประจำประเทศไทย 

ในการนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชุตินันท์ ประสิทธิ์ภูริปรีชา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี เป็นประธานกล่าวต้อนรับคณะผู้แทน พร้อมด้วย ดร.ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ นายเคน เลกินส์ (Mr. Ken Legins) ผู้แทนองค์การยูนิเซฟประจำประเทศไทย และคณะ โดยมีนายสถาพร ศรีแย้ม ผู้อำนวยการมูลนิธิกระจกเงา สำนักงานอุบลราชธานี ผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และตัวแทนนักศึกษา เข้าร่วมประชุมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง 

ภายในงาน มีการนำเสนอผลสัมฤทธิ์และถอดบทเรียนจากโครงการนำร่อง “การดำเนินโครงการด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและการมีส่วนร่วมของเยาวชน” โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ปฐวี โชติอนันต์ หัวหน้ากลุ่มวิจัยท้องถิ่นศึกษา คณะรัฐศาสตร์ พร้อมทั้งตัวแทนนักศึกษาที่ได้ร่วมถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ตรงและนำเสนอข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายเยาวชน ร่วมกับ นายบุญยง จินตนะกุล รองนายกเทศมนตรีเมืองวารินชำราบ

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการเปิดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเพื่อผลักดันข้อเสนอของเยาวชนสู่การปฏิบัติจริงในพื้นที่ ระหว่างภาคีเครือข่ายองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น (เทศบาลเมืองวารินชำราบ) และภาคประชาสังคม (มูลนิธิกระจกเงา สำนักงานอุบลราชธานี) เพื่อร่วมกันหาแนวทางบรรจุข้อเสนอเข้าสู่แผนพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ตลอดจนวางแนวทางขยายผลความร่วมมืออย่างยั่งยืน และขับเคลื่อนโมเดลการทำงานนี้สู่สถาบันอุดมศึกษาอื่น ๆ ต่อไป 

Ubon Ratchathani University Partners with UNICEF Thailand to Host Discussion on Mobilizing Youth Power for Climate Action in Local Development Plans

On October 9, 2026, at Meeting Room POL 116, 1st Floor, Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), the Faculty of Political Science, in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF Thailand), held a consultative meeting with a delegation from UNICEF Thailand.

On this occasion, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University, delivered welcoming remarks to the delegation. Dr. Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, UBU, joined in extending a warm welcome to Mr. Ken Legins, UNICEF Representative for Thailand, and his delegation. The meeting was attended by Mr. Sathaporn Sriyam Director,Ubon Ratchathani Center, The Mirror Foundation (Ubon Ratchathani Office), along with university executives, faculty members, and student representatives.

During the event, Asst.Prof.Patawee Chotanan, Head of the Local Studies Research Group, Faculty of Political Science, presented the achievements and lessons learned from the pilot project "Climate Change Implementation and Youth Participation." Student representatives shared their first-hand experiences and presented youth policy recommendations in collaboration with Mr. Bunyong Jintanakul, Deputy Mayor of Warin Chamrap Town Municipality.

Additionally, an exchange forum was held to translate youth proposals into practical local action. Network partners from the local administrative organization (Warin Chamrap Town Municipality) and civil society (The Mirror Foundation, Ubon Ratchathani Office) discussed ways to integrate these proposals into local development plans, establish guidelines for sustainable collaboration, and expand this operational model to other higher education institutions in the future.
