ในการนี้ ดร.ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตรัสเซีย โดยมี ดร. วรุตม์ อิงคถาวรวงศ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายบริหารและพัฒนาองค์การ ผศ.ดร.อรุณี สัณฐิติวณิชย์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและองค์การสัมพันธ์, ดร.ธนเชษฐ วิสัยจร รักษาการหัวหน้าภาควิชาการเมืองและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ ตลอดจนคณาจารย์ของคณะร่วมให้การต้อนรับ
ในโอกาสนี้ คณบดีได้แนะนำภาพรวมของคณะรัฐศาสตร์ ทั้งในด้านการจัดการเรียนการสอน งานวิจัย และเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับมหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ ในเอเชียและยุโรป พร้อมทั้งได้หารือถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์ระหว่างคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี กับมหาวิทยาลัยใน สหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย ในอนาคต
การเยือนครั้งนี้นับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางวิชาการ และเปิดพื้นที่สำหรับความร่วมมือในอนาคตระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาไทยและรัสเซีย

The Faculty of Political Science at Ubon Ratchathani University had the honour of welcoming HE. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Faculty.
On this occasion, Dr Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, warmly received the delegation from the Embassy of the Russian Federation. Also present to welcome the delegation were Dr Warut Ingkhatawornwong, Vice Dean for Administration and Organisational Development; Assistant Professor Arunee Santhitiwanich, Vice Dean for Research and Organisational Relations; Dr Thanachate Wisaijorn, Acting Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations; along with other members of the faculty.
During the visit, the Dean presented an overview of the Faculty of Political Science, including its teaching and learning activities, research agenda, and academic collaboration networks with universities across Asia and Europe. The discussion also explored the possibility of developing academic cooperation and exchange programmes for students and staff between the Faculty of Political Science at Ubon Ratchathani University and universities in the Russian Federation in the future.
The visit provided an important opportunity to strengthen academic relations and to open avenues for future cooperation between Thai and Russian higher education institutions.
