คณะรัฐศาสตร์ ม.อุบลฯ ร่วมพิธีลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ขยายเครือข่ายวิชาการร่วมกับ มหาวิทยาลัยเกียวโต ประเทศญี่ปุ่น 🇹🇭🇯🇵

เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2569 เวลา 10:00 น. (ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นประเทศญี่ปุ่น) คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี นำโดย ดร.ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วยคณะอาจารย์จากภาควิชาการเมืองและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีและเป็นสักขีพยานในการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจว่าด้วยการแลกเปลี่ยนและความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ (Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation) ณ ห้อง Research Commons ชั้น 3 อาคาร East Building, Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) มหาวิทยาลัยเกียวโต ประเทศญี่ปุ่น

 การลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ไตรภาคีฉบับนี้ เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่าง มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี กับ Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies (ASAFAS) และ Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) มหาวิทยาลัยเกียวโต โดยมีผู้บริหารระดับสูงจากทั้งสองสถาบันของญี่ปุ่นเข้าร่วมพิธีอย่างพร้อมเพรียง ฝ่าย CSEAS, Kyoto University ได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ Kobayashi Satoru ในฐานะรองผู้อำนวยการ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ปวิน ชัชวาลพงศ์พันธ์ ศาสตราจารย์ Mario Lopez ฝ่าย ASAFAS, Kyoto University ได้แก่ ดร. Kazuya Nakamizo ในฐานะคณบดี

 บันทึกความเข้าใจฉบับนี้มีกำหนดระยะเวลา 5 ปี โดยมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพทางวิชาการร่วมกันบนหลักการต่างตอบแทน ในขอบเขตสำคัญดังนี้ การวิจัยร่วมกันประกอบการผลักดันโครงการวิจัยและการจัดทำสิ่งพิมพ์เผยแพร่ทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ

การจัดประชุมวิชาการได้แก่ร่วมมือจัดงานสัมมนาและประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ การแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรและนักศึกษาได้การแลกเปลี่ยนคณาจารย์เพื่อการสอน/วิจัย รวมถึงการเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระหว่างสถาบัน

การแบ่งปันทรัพยากรได้แก่การเข้าถึงแหล่งข้อมูลห้องสมุด สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และทรัพยากรสารสนเทศร่วมกัน

การร่วมมือในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญของคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ในการขับเคลื่อนความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ เสริมสร้างเครือข่ายการวิจัยในระดับภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และเปิดประตูสู่โอกาสระดับสากลให้กับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาต่อไปในอนาคต

Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University Attends the Tripartite MOU Signing Ceremony with Kyoto University, Japan

On Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at 10:00 AM (Local Time in Japan), the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Dr. Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, along with faculty members from the Department of Politics and International Relations, attended and witnessed the official signing ceremony of the "Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation". The ceremony took place at the Research Commons, 3rd Floor, East Building, Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University, Japan.

This tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishes a framework for academic collaboration between Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies (ASAFAS), and the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University. The ceremony was honored by the presence of key executives and representatives from Kyoto University, including:

- From CSEAS, Kyoto University: Prof. Kobayashi Satoru (Vice Director), Prof. Pavin Chachavalpongpun ,Associate Prof. Mario Lopez

- From ASAFAS, Kyoto University: Dr. Kazuya Nakamizo (Dean)

Valid for a period of five years, this MOU outlines the framework for cooperative intentions based on the principles of reciprocity in the following key areas:

• Joint Research & Publications: Collaborative development of research initiatives, joint conferences, and academic publications.

• Academic Exchanges: Faculty and student exchange programs to promote knowledge sharing and cross-cultural learning.

• Resource Sharing: Providing mutual access to library resources, internet, and electronic media.

This partnership marks a significant milestone for Ubon Ratchathani University in driving academic excellence, strengthening research networks in Southeast Asian studies, and fostering international opportunities for both faculty members and students in the years to come.
