เมื่อวันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2569 เวลา 11.00 น. (ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นประเทศญี่ปุ่น) ณ Osaka University (Minoh Campus) คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี นำโดย ดร. ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ธนเชษฐ วิสัยจร รักษาการหัวหน้าภาควิชาการเมืองและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศและคณาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาฯ ได้เข้าประชุมหารือเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนและสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการร่วมกับ School of Foreign Studies, Osaka University (外国語学部)

ในการนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. Shinsuke Hinata ให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น พร้อมนำคณะผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานีเยี่ยมชมอาคาร สภาพแวดล้อม และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ ภายในสถาบัน ก่อนเข้าร่วมประชุมหารือในประเด็นความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสองสถาบันร่วมกัน ซึ่งบรรยากาศเป็นไปอย่างชื่นมื่น โอกาสนี้ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ได้มอบของที่ระลึกเพื่อเป็นการแสดงความขอบคุณแก่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยโอซาก้า

นอกจากนี้ การเดินทางเยือนในครั้งยังได้รับเกียรติจากคณาจารย์ชาวไทยในฐานะเจ้าบ้านร่วมให้การต้อนรับ ได้แก่

รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ภาสพงศ์ ผิวพอใช้ อาจารย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านภาษาศาสตร์และภาษาไทยศึกษา ปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่งอาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาไทยศึกษา (Department of Thai Studies) (อดีตอาจารย์สังกัดคณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี)

รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. แสงเทียน รัตนเสรีวงษ์ อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาไทยศึกษา คณะภาษาต่างประเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยโอซาก้า

การหารือในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการพัฒนาเครือข่ายทางวิชาการ การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และการสร้างโอกาสระดับนานาชาติให้แก่คณาจารย์และนักศึกษาของคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานีต่อไปในอนาคต

On 28 May 28 2026, at 11:00 AM (Japan Local Time) at Osaka University (Minoh Campus), the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), led by Dr. Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Thanachete Wisaijorn, Acting Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations, and faculty members, attended a meeting to discuss academic exchange and forge collaboration with the School of Foreign Studies, Osaka University (外国語学部)

On this occasion, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Shinsuke Hinata, who guided the executives and faculty from Ubon Ratchathani University on a tour of the campus buildings, environment, and various facilities. This was followed by a meeting to discuss academic cooperation between the two institutions, which took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere. To mark this auspicious occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science presented a token of appreciation to Osaka University.

Furthermore, the visit was honoured by a warm welcome from Thai faculty members serving as co-hosts, including:

Associate Professor Dr. Pasapong Phewphawchai, an expert in linguistics and Thai studies, currently a faculty member at the Department of Thai Studies (and former faculty member of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University).

Associate Professor Dr. Saengtian Rattanasereewong , a faculty member at the Department of Thai Studies, School of Foreign Studies, Osaka University.

This discussion marks a significant milestone in developing academic networks, promoting knowledge exchange, and creating international opportunities for the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, in the future.
