สมาชิกกลุ่มท้องถิ่นศึกษา คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี เข้าร่วมการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ ICSSD-SEA 2026 ณ Universitas Andalas ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย

ระหว่างวันที่ 14–15 กรกฎาคม 2569 สมาชิก กลุ่มท้องถิ่นศึกษา (Local Studies Group: LSG) คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ The International Conference on the Social Dimensions of Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia (ICSSD-SEA 2026) ซึ่งจัดขึ้น ณ Universitas Andalas เมืองปาดัง ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน การปกครองท้องถิ่น และการพัฒนาชุมชนในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จันทรา ธนะวัฒนาวงศ์ ได้รับเกียรติจากคณะผู้จัดงานให้เป็น Keynote Speaker บรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “From Value Chains to Community Empowerment: Participatory Local Governance Lessons from Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand” โดยได้นำเสนอประสบการณ์และบทเรียนจากจังหวัดอุบลราชธานีเกี่ยวกับการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาชุมชนผ่านการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชน การบริหารจัดการท้องถิ่น และการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพของชุมชน ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากนักวิชาการ นักวิจัย และผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมจากหลายประเทศในภูมิภาค

การเข้าร่วมประชุมในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงบทบาทของกลุ่มท้องถิ่นศึกษาในการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ตลอดจนการเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการปกครองท้องถิ่น การพัฒนาชุมชน และการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของประเทศไทยสู่เวทีวิชาการระดับภูมิภาค อันจะนำไปสู่การต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัย การเรียนการสอน และการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้กับสถาบันการศึกษาต่างประเทศในอนาคต

Members of the Local Studies Group, Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University Participate in ICSSD-SEA 2026 at Universitas Andalas, Indonesia

On 14–15 July 2026, members of the Local Studies Group (LSG), Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, participated in the International Conference on the Social Dimensions of Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia (ICSSD-SEA 2026), hosted by Universitas Andalas in Padang, Indonesia. The conference brought together scholars and practitioners to exchange knowledge and experiences on sustainable development, local governance, and community development across Southeast Asia.

On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Chantra Thanawatthanawong was honoured to serve as a Keynote Speaker, delivering a keynote address entitled:

“From Value Chains to Community Empowerment: Participatory Local Governance Lessons from Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.”

The presentation highlighted lessons learned from Ubon Ratchathani Province on strengthening community development through participatory local governance, citizen engagement, and community empowerment. The keynote attracted considerable interest from academics, researchers, and conference participants from across the region.
