วันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2568 ดร.ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี นำคณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และบุคลากร ลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมชมศูนย์พัฒนาและบริการกสิกรรม - ป่าไม้ หนองเต่า โครงการความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว โดยมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา

🌱 จุดเด่นของการเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้

ศึกษาดูงานโครงการระดับนานาชาติ ศูนย์พัฒนาและบริการกสิกรรม-ป่าไม้ หนองเต่า เป็นต้นแบบของความร่วมมือที่ประสบความสำเร็จระหว่างสองประเทศ โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาด้านเกษตรกรรมและการอนุรักษ์ป่าไม้ที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับแนวคิดการบริหารจัดการภาครัฐแบบบูรณาการที่นักศึกษารัฐศาสตร์ต้องเรียนรู้ แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ โดยมี ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์พัฒนาและบริการกสิกรรม-ป่าไม้ หนองเต่า ให้เกียรติต้อนรับคณะเยี่ยมชม และบรรยายพิเศษเรื่อง "ผลการดำเนินงานและบทเรียนจากการพัฒนาความร่วมมือไทย-ลาว" โดยเน้นการนำเสนอกรณีศึกษาที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและการวิจัยในอนาคต

🤝 ประโยชน์ที่คาดหวัง

สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ การเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้เป็นการวางรากฐานสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและหน่วยงานพัฒนา เพื่อการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา การฝึกงาน และการทำวิจัยร่วมกันในอนาคต พัฒนาหลักสูตรให้ทันสมัย ความรู้และประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับจะถูกนำมาบูรณาการเข้ากับหลักสูตรรัฐศาสตร์ เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้จากกรณีศึกษาจริง และเข้าใจการทำงานของภาครัฐในบริบทความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ ยกระดับการวิจัย เปิดโอกาสให้คณาจารย์และนักศึกษาได้พัฒนาโครงการวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากร การพัฒนาชุมชน และการทูตประชาชน

🌿 วิสัยทัศน์สู่อนาคต

คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ กล่าวว่า "การเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้เป็นการเปิดหน้าต่างให้คณาจารย์ได้เห็นภาพการทำงานจริงของภาครัฐ การสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ และการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการศึกษาด้านรัฐศาสตร์ในยุคปัจจุบัน" โดยการดำเนินงานดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงวิสัยทัศน์ของคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ในการเป็น "สถาบันที่เป็นเลิศด้านรัฐศาสตร์ และรัฐประศาสนศาสตร์เพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตอย่างยั่งยืน"

🌟UBU Faculty of Political Science Undertakes Field Visit to Thai-Lao Sustainable Development Project in Nong Tao

📍Promoting Cross-Border Academic Engagement and Integrative Approaches to Public Administration

🌾On 28 May 2025, Dr Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, led a team comprising academic staff and other Faculty members on a field visit to the Nong Tao Agroforestry Development and Service Centre. This site represents a collaborative initiative between the Kingdom of Thailand and Lao PDR, supported by the Chaipattana Foundation. The project serves as a model of successful international cooperation, emphasising sustainable agriculture and forest conservation.

🌱Key Highlights of the Visit

The field visit provided an opportunity for in-depth engagement with an internationally recognised development model. The Nong Tao Centre embodies an integrative approach to Public Administration—focusing on sustainable resource management and cross-border cooperation. This aligns with the academic objectives of political science students, particularly in the areas of policy implementation and international development.

🌻The team was warmly welcomed by the Centre’s Director, who delivered a special lecture on “Outcomes and Lessons from Thai-Lao Development Cooperation”. The presentation featured case studies of relevance to future curriculum development and research. The visit thus served not only as a site exploration but also an academic platform for knowledge exchange and experiential learning.

The field study laid the groundwork for the establishment of long-term academic partnerships between higher education institutions and development agencies in the region. Key expected outcomes include the promotion of student exchanges, internship programmes, and joint research initiatives.
