🇺🇸🇹🇭 ดร.ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ คณบดีคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี และ ดร.ฐิติพล ภักดีวานิช เข้าร่วมงานเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 249 ปี แห่งการประกาศอิสรภาพของสหรัฐอเมริกา จัดโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสหรัฐอเมริกาประจำประเทศไทย ณ Topgolf Megacity เมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2568

โดยการเข้าร่วมงานครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือที่มีมาอย่างต่อเนื่องระหว่างคณะรัฐศาสตร์กับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯทั้งในด้านการส่งเสริมประชาธิปไตย ผ่านการสนับสนุนจากองค์การเพื่อการพัฒนาระหว่างประเทศของสหรัฐอเมริกา (USAID) ซึ่งเคยมีบทบาทสำคัญก่อนที่โครงการต่าง ๆ จะสิ้นสุดลงในประเทศไทย และการพัฒนาศักยภาพเยาวชนและพลเมืองในอีสาน (ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศ) เพื่อร่วมกันสร้าง “หุ้นส่วนประชาธิปไตย” ที่ยั่งยืนระหว่างไทยและสหรัฐอเมริกา นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการพบปะ แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น และสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกันในประเด็นด้านประชาธิปไตย สิทธิมนุษยชน และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนในระดับภูมิภาค

🇺🇸🇹🇭Dr Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, and Dr Titipol Phakdeewanich attended the celebration of the 249th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, hosted by the US Embassy Bangkok at Topgolf Megacity on 25 June 2025.

Their participation aimed to strengthen the ongoing collaboration between the Faculty of Political Science and the US Embassy, particularly in advancing democracy through the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which had previously played an important role before the recent conclusion of its programmes in Thailand, and in empowering youth and citizens in Isan (Northeastern Thailand), as part of our shared commitment to building a sustainable ‘democratic partnership’ between Thailand and the United States. Furthermore, the event provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue, exchange of perspectives, and fostering mutual understanding on key issues relating to democracy, human rights, and sustainable regional development.
